OnePlus 7 Pro Software Update:

Oneplus is rollout the incremental update with OxygenOS 11.0.8.1 with the latest May 2022 security patch for the Oneplus 7 Pro the update is live in multiple regions with the build version of OxygenOS 11.0.8.1.GM21BA for Europe & OxygenOS 11.0.8.1.GM21AA​ for North America which includes general bug fixes and improvements in system stability along with the latest security patch.

Oneplus 7 was released on 04th June,2019 with Android 9.0 out of the box.

The OTA will be received by a limited number of users today and will have a broader rollout in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs. Using VPN to download this build might not work as the rollout Is not based on regions and is randomly pushed out to a limited number of devices.

How long will it get updates?

The OnePlus 7 Pro has received two major OS updates with Android 10 and 11. But Oneplus has promised 3-year OS updates for its flagship series of devices.

Hence, the Android 12 update should probably be the last major OS update on this device.

But it will continue to receive Security Updates or the OxygenOS updates next year at least.
