Realme 8 Software Update:

Realme has started the staged rollout of the April 2022 security patch via OTA for Realme 8 model. The latest update comes with the build number RMX3085_11_C.07 which brings hotfixes to Realme UI 3.0 which was released last month. The size of the new update is 1.90 GB.

Realme 8 was released on March 25th, 2021, with Android 11 out-of-the-box.

The latest version comes with security and system improvements. The update integrates the March 2022 and April 2022 Android security patch. It also increases the stability of the device to improve system performance to enhance the user experience.

In March 2022, Realme rolled out the stable version of Realme UI 3.0-based Android 12 for Realme 8 with the build number RMX3085_11.C.06. The C.07 update is the first OTA after Android 12 which brings the latest security patch Details of C.06 - Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0

Realme has started the staged rollout of the April 2022 security patch via OTA for the Realme 7 Pro model. The latest build number is RMX2170_11.C.30 which fixes the security, system & apps issues. It integrates the March 2022 and April 2022 Android security patch.

Realme 7 Pro was released in September 2020, with an Android 10 out-of-the-box.

The update also improves system performance in some scenarios. It also fixes an issue where an "Android" icon might appear on the Home screen after you install an app from Google Play. For apps, it fixes an issue that might prevent you from searching for a contact in the Contacts app.

The latest update is a staged rollout to ensure its stability of this update. The update will be available to a limited number of users today and will be rolled out to all the users in a few days to ensure there are no critical bugs. Once ensured, the full rollout will be completed in the upcoming days.

Xiaomi has released the stable MIUI 13 stable version with March 2022 Security Patch update for Mi 11T Pro. The MIUI 13 update was first rolling in batches but the stable version had finally been released for the Indian region. Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently bought 73,486,938 shares of Twitter, representing a 9.2% stake in the company making him the largest shareholder of the social media company, leaving behind the ex-CEO of the company Jack Dorsey who has around 2.25% stake in the company. A little over a week after Elon Musk bought a 9.2% stake in the company, Elon Musk offered to buy Twitter for 43 billion dollars. He has offered to buy the company for $54.2 a share highlighting that the company needs to be transformed into a private company to provide "free speech" in the future.

Elon Musk mentioned that he isn't interested in making money off it and doesn't care about economics at all. “This is not a way to sort of make money, it’s just that I think my strong, intuitive sense is that having a public platform that is maximally trusted and broadly inclusive, is extremely important to the future of civilization," Musk mentioned in TED2022. Before buying the stake in the company, he criticized Twitter for whether the company followed the free speech principles.

“My offer is my best and final offer and if it is not accepted, I would need to reconsider my position as a shareholder.” Musk is getting his hands on the big giants after acquiring four times the stake Jack Dorsey owns.

Previously it was seen running the February 2022 Security Patch, however, it had received an OTA update later in the same month which had a peculiar fix in the Gallery. Oneplus had skipped the March 2022 Security Patch for the device. And still, the Nord 2 users are waiting for the Android 12 update with OxygenOS 12.
