Nokia 8.3 Software Update:

Nokia has just begun rolling out the incremental update for Nokia 8.3 smartphones, in the Egypt and Finland Regions. This software update version contains the June 2022 security patch running Android 12. As the update brings a big size of 2.03GB we think it has a lot of system and incremental fixes not listed in the changelog.

Nokia 8.3 5G was released on 15th September 2020 with Android 10 out-of-the-box.

The update is currently being rolled out to the Egypt and Finland region and will reach all the users soon. In some areas, the update is over 2 GB but in other areas, the update is just 35.58 MB only.

The Nokia 8.3 5G was released with an Android 10 out-of-the-box and it has received its first major OS update with Android 11 in January 2021.

As per Android One program, Nokia is committed to offer 2 major OS updates with 3 years of security patches to its devices.

Nokia has begun delivering software update for the Nokia 5.3 model, this time with the May 2022 security patch. This time, the most recent update didn't include any significant changes. On the 20th of June, Nokia 5.3 began receiving the May 2022 security patch; this is a staggered distribution, so don't panic if it hasn't reached your device yet. Nokia has started rolling out yet another OTA update of the May 2022 security patch for the Nokia 3.4 model. The latest update hasn't brought any major updates this time. Nokia 3.4 started receiving the May 2022 security patch on 17th June and this is a staged rollout so if it hasn't reached your device yet, don't worry. It will reach all the devices soon so as to ensure no critical bugs are found.

Nokia 2.4 Software Update:

Nokia has released the incremental update of the June 2022 Security patch via OTA for the Nokia 2.4 model. The latest security patch comes with the build number 00WW_3_210_SP01 which has increased the security of the device this time.

Nokia 2.4 was released on 30th September, September 2020 with Android 10 out-of-the-box.

This is a security update for Nokia 2.4 which improves the security of the device and no major updates have come with the June 2022 security patch. Google security patch has been updated to June 2022 to improve the security of the device.

Note that this update is only available/meant for France. The company will keep the other regions posted. We'll notify once more updates are released for the same.

Nokia 7.2 Software Update:

Nokia 7.2 gets the Android 11 [v3.490] with December 2021 Security Patch, after receiving the much-awaited Android 11 update on the 2nd batch for most regions, earlier on November 2021 the device had got Android 11 update but didn't reach most users, but this time Nokia is covering the users who were left out, the OTA upgrade has a file size of 1.57 GB | 2.84 MB.

The users who were already running on December 2021 security patch with Android 11, are getting an iterative version build patch fix of 2.84 MB and version bump to [v3.440→→v3.490] running Android 11.

Nokia 7.2 was released on September 23, 2019, with android 9 out-of-the-box.

Previously the device had received the December 2021 Security Patch for a few users, the rest of the users are getting the Android 11 with the same December 2021 Security Patch. So far the update has been reported by multiple users in different regions, like India, Australia, Indonesia & Across Asia.
