The Hong Kong-based smartphone company Infinix is not so fast in providing Android OS updates. Most of the users are still waiting to get the Infinix Android 11 Update on their devices working on Android 10.
Infinix also does not share the Android 11 update roll-out plan like Oppo which keeps the Infinix users in the dark over the release date of Android updates.
There is an article of Infinix Android 12 update highlighting the devices eligible to receive the Android 12 update but they still haven’t received the Infinix Android 11 Update.
The question that arises is, “When will Infinix release Android 11 Update to all the eligible devices?”.
Infinix Devices Eligible for Android 11
The Infinix devices released with an Android 10 out-of-the-box are automatically eligible for the Infinix Android 11 Update. But, still many devices have not received the Android 11 Update or its release date.
While most of the Inifinix devices released with an Android 9 Pie may not receive the Android 11 update, some of them which received or will receive the Android 10 might be upgraded to Android 11. Although, this varies for different Infinix models.

It’s kind of tricky to answer as some devices have gotten few updates & bug fixes. But a lot of its devices haven’t gotten any major android updates yet.
Does Infinix provide updates?
Yes, but their update doesn’t bring much value, as they have not set up a dedicated team for improving the UI & Software quality of their devices, most phones don’t receive any big updates.

The Infinix devices listed above have not received the major Android 11 Update and it is still unclear whereas to when they will receive it or not.
As there are no official dates/road-maps of the Android 11 update, it cannot be predicted when will Infinix provide Android updates for these devices.
Infinix Devices released with Android 9 Pie
The devices listed above may or may not get the Infinix Android 11 Update. But, the devices which were released with an Android 9 Pie are almost certain to NOT get an Android 11 Update.
That is because these devices, not even one, have not even received the official Android 10 Update yet. These devices are –

- Infinix Hot S5
- Infinix Hot 7
- Infinix Hot 7 Pro
- Infinix Hot 8
- Infinix Note 6

So, it is quite clear that Infinix has not provided any official Android OS updates for its users with Infinix devices running on Android 9 Pie. Also, there are only promises regarding the Android 11 Update for the other devices.
Only time will tell if Infinix sticks to their word and provide Android updates for their latest and previous phones. Till then, the only thing that Infinix users can do is “wait”.
Note
As far as we know, Infinix devices won’t be getting major OS updates, As their team is lacking in the software department and from their track record a lot of their previous devices haven’t gotten any major updates apart from patch or bug fixes.
Also remember, “Promised updates is always a Waiting Game”.

So sad to read that no Android 11update for my Infinix note 7. I will dispose off my infinix note 7 and swish to a company that thinks about it’s customers. My family and I will not buy any infinix phones again.
Yes, they make good products but their software update game is kind of low or nothing in this current time compared to Other brands in 2021
Infinix is not serious with their customers. Imagine zero 6 pro, very expensive phone, without updates! Do sad and hurting. I won’t advise somebody to go for this brand.

Don’t buy infinix, don’t mind infinix with your friends, infinix is regrettable, even if your purchasing power is low, save a little more money and buy quality brands that provide regular updates
Well said, I don’t think Infinix Phones are priced less, they are almost comparable to big brands, with bad software service.
Friends, let’s be conscious, let’s not shop from such companies, let such companies go bankrupt, companies that respect their customers should stay in the phone market. Get rid of the rotten apples.
You’re absolutely right, it’s actually not that cheap of a brand, anyway, if there’s one thing I’m sure of, it’s infinix, techno camon, etc. that companies should go bankrupt and be wiped out of the telephone industry.
