Motorola Moto G40 Fusion: January 2022 Security Patch

Moto G40 Fusion Software Update:

After a few months of no updates finally, Motorola has released the latest security patch for Motorola Moto G40 Fusion with January 2022 Security Patch, the update carries RR131.Q1-42-51-12 new version or build number, with a small update size of 57MB. Although we haven’t seen any updates in the past months that have been reported by G40 Fusion users.

But this is a good start for Moto Users as it new year & companies change their policies, hopefully they get back on track. But one thing to note from Lenovo owned Motorola is unlike the previous software update policy, the devices are running Stock Android but they are slow in rolling major updates.

Motorola Moto G40 Fusion was released on 1st May,2021 with Android 11 out-of-the box.

Moto G40 Fusion – Android 12 Timeline?

Motorola has promised on delivering at least 1 major update for all its budget devices, But the users expect 2 Major Android upgrades, typically given to all competitor devices right now. But as far as the timeline is concerned a user asked the same question on the community page. But in response, this was mentioned.
