Motorola Moto G 5G Android 11 update is rolling out

The wait for the Android 11 in Moto G 5G is finally over. Lenovo-owned Motorola is now rolling out the Android 11 update in Moto G 5G. 

However, Moto G 5G with the model number XT2075-3-DS is already updated with Android 11 in Brazil. This update was rolled out in March 2021 with version number RPN31.Q4U-39-27-5 along with the security patches the size of this update was 1.08GB in size.

Moto G 5G was launch with Android 10 powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G (8 nm) processor in November 2020. It is the first major OS update of Android 11 with version number RRV31.Q2-36-14-14.  The code name for this update is Kievv.

It appears that the current update in Moto G 5G is rolled out in the USA only. Unfortunately, it is still unclear if the update is available for other regions as well or not.

How to download android 11 in Moto G 5G

You will automatically receive an automatic notification in your Moto G 5G devices once it is rolled out in your region. 

If you haven’t received the OTA notification on your phone, you can manually check for the update by heading towards Settings >> System >> System update. 

You can also try out the Lenovo Moto Smart Assistant (LMSA) tool to download the updated firmware right now and flash it using a PC.

Motorola has rolled out the Android 11 updates for the Moto G Pro, Moto G8, G8 Power, and Moto Edge phones so far. Now, the Moto G 5G is now joining the list.

On that note, we conclude that since the first batch of this update was rolled out a few months back in Brazil only and now it appears to be the second batch, we hope that rest of the region will receive this update soon.
