On 4th August 2021, Nokia officially released the Nokia 5.3 Android 11 Update globally. The update is currently rolling out in waves and is soon expected to reach all the users around the globe.
The official statement from Nokia was, “Hello, Nokia 5.3 users, great news for you, the rollout for Android 11 starts now! To provide a smooth rollout, we dispatch the Update in Waves.”

Wave 1 includes Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Taiwan, Vietnam.
A key thing to note is that 30% of these approved markets will receive the update immediately, 50% by August 05, and on August 06, 100% of these markets will have received the Nokia 5.3 Android 11 update.
The Nokia 5.3 was released in March 2020 with an Android 10 out-of-the-box.
