OnePlus 8 Software Update

OnePlus officially rolled out the OxygenOS 11 Iterative Update for OnePlus 8 with the device getting the OxygenOS 11.0.10.10 along with the December 2021 Security Patch this update also fixes the issues in the UI Display in setting interface, with a fix in Google Assistant and GPay in the Setup Wizard and the low probability issue of WhatsApp crash.

OnePlus 8 was released in April 2020 with an Android 10 out-of-the-box.

Released on 25th December 2021.

Previously it was running on October 2021 Security Patch, which had brought Files by Google app along with the security patch, that's a bit of a new thing in the OTA build, where new apps are getting bundled through a software update.

One thing to note, the community & users of Oneplus 8 are disappointed with the new update even though the update particularly says a fix in the UI display of the Settings Interface.

But, a ton of users reported the issues have not been resolved and we can see the image posted below from a OnePlus 8 user posted on the community there has been a concern in the OnePlus software team lately regarding the quality of software updates.

The OnePlus 8 has received one major OS update with Android 11. Therefore, it is eligible for the Android 12 and Android 13 updates as well.
