OnePlus 8 Pro: May 2022 Security Patch with C.20 Build
OnePlus 8 Pro Software Update:
OnePlus has started the staged rollout of OxygenOS 12 with C.20 Update via OTA for the OnePlus 8 Pro model. With their respective build numbers, the latest update brings May 2022 Security Patch with C.20 build has been issued for Indian, European, and North American areas.
OnePlus 8 Pro was released on April 21, 2020 with Android 10 out-of-the-box, upgradable to Android 12, OxygenOS 12 (as of 2022)
The device does not receive any significant upgrades with this update. The device’s performance and user experience have both increased as a result of improved system stability. For security purposes, the Android security patch was updated to May 2022.
As of now, this is a staged rollout. The update will reach a small fraction of users to ensure there are no critical bugs. If no bugs are found, the full rollout will be completed in a few days.

How long will it get updates?
The OnePlus 8 Pro has received two major OS updates with Android 12. Therefore, it is eligible for the Android 13 updates as well.
The OnePlus 8 Pro will receive three years of major OS updates and four years of Security updates.
Android 13 will probably be the last major OS update on the device.
