Released in June 2021, last month, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G has received its second Software Update of the month with the OxygenOS 11.0.5.5 being rolled out to the Indian users reportedly.
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G Software Update reports are all over the OnePlus community as the users are jubilant with the latest OxygenOS 11.0.5.5 update bringing camera improvements, improving system stability along with some bug fixes.
This is actually the second Software Update of the month for the OnePlus Nord CE 5G as it received the Oxygen OS 11.0.4.4 update in the first week of July 2021.
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G was released on June 10th, 2021 with an Android 11 out-of-the-box.

The OnePlus Nord CE 5G comes in three variants, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB. It comes with a 6.43-inch Color Fluid AMOLED screen with a punch hole notch. It consists of a 64MP+8MP+2MP triple rear camera and a 16MP front camera. It has a 2.2 GHz Octa-Core processor with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset. The available RAM and the storage space are as per the variants. It comes with a battery size of 4500 mAh and an Android 11 out-of-the-box.
How long will it get updates?
As mentioned above, this is a Software updates for OnePlus Nord CE 5G and not the major/stable OS updates as it has an Android 11 OS already.
Therefore, Android 12 will be the first major OS update on this device and it is also eligible to be on the Android 13 update list as well as it will reportedly receive only two major OS updates.
