OnePlus Nord CE Software Update:

OnePlus has started rolling out the incremental update of the May 2022 security patch for the OnePlus Nord CE model. The latest software update with the build number OxygenOS 11.0.17.17 has been released for India, Europe, and North American regions.

OnePlus Nord CE was released on 11th June 2021 with Android 11 out-of-the-box.

There aren't any major changes or updates for this device in accordance with this month's fixes. It updated the Android security patch to May 2022. As such, the new OTA update doesn't bring any major changelog to the device. You should update it to the latest version of the device to have a seamless experience as OnePlus may soon rollout OxygenOS 12 update for the device.

Note: If you're waiting for OxygenOS 12 with Android 12, the try and keep your updated with the latest OxygenOS 11 version, As we might soon hear the announcement of beta testers for the device

As usual, this OTA will be incremental. A small fraction of users will receive the OTA, and they'll begin a wider rollout in a few days to ensure there are no critical bugs.

How long will it get updates?

OnePlus Nord CE was released with Android 11 out-of-the-box in June 2021.

Therefore, Android 12 will be its first major OS update on this device and it is also eligible to be on the Android 13 update list as well. It is reportedly eligible to receive two major OS updates and we should wait for the official announcement by the company.
