Oppo has officially released the latest software update for Oppo Find X2 in India which makes the RAM Expansion feature available along with it.
The update is currently being rolled out in phases and is soon expected to reach all the Oppo Find X2 users. It comes with a build number CPH2023_11.C.68. The size of the update is 812 MB reportedly. Along with the update, a June 2021 Android Security patch has also been released.
But the most important and latest feature that the software update for Oppo Find X2 has brought is the RAM Expansion.
As the name itself suggests, the RAM Expansion feature allows a smartphone user to expand the device's RAM. It's basically virtual RAM.
This is achieved by allocating some of the device's storage space to the RAM. When enough storage space is available, you can use part of it to expand your RAM.
The RAM Expansion is available of 3GB, 5GB, and 7GB size in some of the smartphones with the latest RAM Expansion feature.
The method of using the RAM Expansion feature is generally the same for all the Android smartphones available with this feature.

You can simply head over to the Settings >> About Phone >> RAM >> Choose the RAM Expansion size >> Restart your Smartphone.
The RAM Expansion feature can only come into effect after your device has been restarted. The RAM in Oppo Find X2 can be expanded by 3GB, 5GB or 7GB.
The Oppo Find X2 comes with a 6.7-inch Color OLED screen with a punch hole notch and a Corning Gorilla Glass 6. It consists of a 48MP + 13MP + 12MP triple rear camera and a 32MP front camera. It has a 2.84 GHz Octa-Core processor with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. The available RAM and the storage space are 12GB and 256GB respectively. It comes with a battery size of 4200 mAh and an Android 10 out-of-the-box.
The Oppo Find X2 was officially released with an Android 10 out-of-the-box in March 2020. It received its first major OS update with Android 11 in November 2020 for the Oppo Find X2 Android 11 Beta users initially.
Now, in July 2021, it has received a Software update with the Security Patch and the latest RAM Expansion feature.

Since it has received only one major OS update, it may be concluded that it is still in line for the upcoming Android 12 update. Therefore, the Oppo Find X2 Pro will probably receive one more major OS update with Android 12. And, it will be the second/last major OS update for it.

The latest software update for the latest RAM Expansion feature is being rolled out in phases. And it is expected to reach all the Oppo Find X2 users soon.
Once the update is available on your device, you will receive a notification regarding the software update. Then, you can head over to Settings >> About Phone >> Software Update section to update your Oppo Find X2 with it and use the RAM Expansion feature.
