Poco X3 Android 11 Update with MIUI 12 rolls out in India
The Poco X3 Android 11 update arrives with MIUI 12 in India. The Poco X3 was released in September 2020 with an Android 10 out-of-the-box, so now, after receiving its first major OS update, it has been upgraded to Android 11 with MIUI 12 skin.
As it is the first major OS update for Poco X3, it is still in line with the upcoming Android 12 update. However, the Android 11 update for Poco X3 still runs on MIUI 12 rather than the latest MIUI 12.5 skin. Hence, we can expect Poco X3 to receive the MIUI 12.5 with Android 12.

The news of Poco X3 receiving the Android 11 based MIUI 12 update in India broke out when the users of Poco X3 posted the screenshots of the Android 11 update on the official Poco Community and other social media sites like Twitter.
The latest major/stable Android 11 update with MIUI 12 for Poco X3 is 2.3 GB in size. It comes with a build number MIUI 12.0.1.0.RJGINXM. Along with the major Android 11 update, a May 2021 Android Security patch has also been released for the Poco X3.
There have been a certain number of complaints from the users about the bugs encountered after the latest Android 11 based MIUI 12 update for Poco X3. So it may be concluded that the latest update is not entirely bug-free.
One such user reported for unresponsive touch on the device and shared a video for the same.

The Poco X3 comes in three variants, Poco X3 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB. The Poco X3 comes with a 6.67-inch Color IPS LCD screen with a punch hole notch. It consists of a 64 MP + 13 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP quadruple rear camera and a 20 MP front camera. It has a 2.3 GHz Octa-Core processor with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset. The available RAM and the storage space available are as per the variants. It comes with a big battery size of 6000 mAh and an Android 10 out-of-the-box.

How long will it get updates?
As mentioned earlier, the Poco X3 was released with Android 10 out-of-the-box. It has now received its first major OS update with Android 11 based MIUI 12 in June 2021.
Since it has received only one major OS update, it may be concluded that it is still in line for the upcoming Android 12 update. Therefore, the Poco X3 will probably receive one more major OS update with Android 12. And, it will be the second/last major OS update for Poco X3.
