Realme 7 Pro Software Update
Realme has started the staged rollout of the April 2022 security patch via OTA for the Realme 7 Pro model. The latest build number is RMX2170_11.C.30 which fixes the security, system & apps issues. It integrates the March 2022 and April 2022 Android security patch.
Realme 7 Pro was released in September 2020, with an Android 10 out-of-the-box.
The update also improves system performance in some scenarios. It also fixes an issue where an “Android” icon might appear on the Home screen after you install an app from Google Play. For apps, it fixes an issue that might prevent you from searching for a contact in the Contacts app.
The latest update is a staged rollout to ensure its stability of this update. The update will be available to a limited number of users today and will be rolled out to all the users in a few days to ensure there are no critical bugs. Once ensured, the full rollout will be completed in the upcoming days.
Regarding the beta trial of Android 12, the device first received the Realme 7 Pro: Realme UI 3.0 with Android 12 – Early Access Open Beta Program on January 2022, so far it had received two more fixes for the beta release. This month – April 2022 once again they had released an application for more users to enroll on the Android 12 Beta Program, more updates are coming soon on this.

The Realme 7 Pro received its first major OS update with Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 in April 2021.
Update: Regarding the release of Android 12, the device is expected to get it soon as the beta trails have rolled out to a bunch of users who enrolled for Early Access – Realme UI 3.0
Hence, it can be concluded that it is eligible for the upcoming Android 12 update. Therefore, Android 12 will be the last major OS update for this device.
