Exciting times for the Realme 7 Pro users as Realme has officially released the latest update on 8 July 2021. The Update comes with critical bug fixes and a June 2021 Android Security patch.
The news became official when the official Realme Community Administrator posted the details of the Realme 7 Pro July 2021 update on the Community. Soon after, the Realme 7 users started posting screenshots online about the official July 2021 update on their Realme 7 Pro devices.

Despite being named as the latest July 2021 update, it carries a June 2021 Android Security patch and not July 2021.

Realme 7 Pro and its Specifications
The Realme 7 Pro was officially released on 3rd September 2020 with an Android 10 out-of-the-box. It officially received the major Android 11 update in April 2021 in India.
Now, in July 2021, it is receiving a Security update with critical bug fixes, other improvements and a June 2021 Android Security patch. Also this week, the Realme 7 received a wider rollout of the stable Android 11 Update in India in July 2021.

The Realme 7 Pro comes in two variants, the Realme 7 Pro 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB. It comes with a 6.4-inch Color Super AMOLED screen with a punch hole notch and Corning Gorilla Glass 3+. It consists of a 64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP quadruple rear camera and a 32MP front camera. It has a 2.3 GHz Octa-Core processor with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G. The available RAM and the storage space are as per the variants. It comes with a battery size of 4500 mAh and an Android 10 out-of-the-box.

How long will it get updates?
As mentioned above, the Realme 7 Pro was released with an Android 10 out-of-the-box. It received its first major OS update with Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 in April 2021.
As it has bagged only one major OS update, it can be concluded that it is Eligible for the upcoming Android 12 update. Therefore it will receive one more major OS update with Android 12 and it will be the last stable update for Realme 7 Pro.
