Realme 8: May 2022 Security Patch with C.08 Build

Realme 8 Software Update:

Realme has started the staged rollout of the May 2022 security patch via OTA for the Realme 8 model. The latest update comes with the build number RMX3085_11.C.08 which brings improvements to Realme UI 3.0 which was released 2 months ago.

Realme 8 was released on March 25th, 2021, with Android 11 out-of-the-box.

The latest security patch comes with security and system improvements. With the security changes, it integrates the May 2022 Android security patch. Talking about system changes, it fixed some of the known issues in the system to stabilize the system and enhance the user experience and performance of the device.

There were also some EAP [Extensible Authentication Protocol] issues and screen flickering problems in this version which have now been solved in this patch.

In March 2022, Realme rolled out the stable version of Realme UI 3.0-based Android 12 for Realme 8 with the build number RMX3085_11.C.06. The C.08 update is the second OTA after Android 12 which brings the latest security patch.

Remember, this is a staged rollout so it will be randomly pushed to a limited number of users to ensure there are no critical bugs. If no critical bugs are found, the rollout will be fully completed in the upcoming days.
