Realme 9 Pro 5G: May 2022 Security Patch with A.38 Build

Realme 9 Pro 5G Software Update:

Realme has started rolling out the incremental update of the May 2022 Security patch via OTA for the Realme 9 Pro 5G model. The latest security patch comes with the build number RMX3471_11.A.38 which has made some security and system improvements this time to enhance the user experience. This is a hotfix to the prior update of the device.

Realme 9 Pro 5G was released on 16th February 2022, with Realme UI 3.0-based Android 12 out-of-the-box.

This update integrated the May 2022 Android security patch. There haven’t been any major improvements in the system in this hotfix. System performance has been enhanced for a smoother experience for the user. Some previously known issues have also been fixed to improve the stability of the device for a better experience.

Note that this is a staged rollout by Realme to ensure there are no critical bugs. It will be available to a few users and during the broader rollout, it will reach the rest of the users. If no critical bugs are found, the full rollout will be completed within a few days.

Previously, the device had received the April 2022 Security patch – Realme 9 Pro 5G: April 2022 Security Patch with A.35 Build which brought some system and camera fixes. For further details, you can refer to the link above.
