Samsung Galaxy A20 Android 11 update with One UI 3.1 rolls out in India
The Indian users of the Samsung Galaxy A20 can rejoice as Samsung has rolled out the Android 11 update with One UI 3.1 for this device earlier than expected. The release of the Android 11 update for this smartphone in India was expected in September 2021 reportedly, but Samsung has rolled it out in June 2021, this month itself.
The Samsung Galaxy A20 received the Android 11 update with One UI 3.1 skin in Russia not more than two weeks ago. And now, the update has rolled out to the Indian users of the Samsung Galaxy A20 smartphone as well.
The budget smartphone of Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy A20 was released with an Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box in April 2019. It received its first major OS update with Android 10 in April 2020. And now, it has received its second major OS update with Android 11 in June 2021.

The news broke out when the Indian users of the Samsung Galaxy A20 posted the screenshots of the latest Android 11 based One UI 3.1 update on their devices on the official Samsung Community.
The stable Android 11 update for Samsung Galaxy A20 with One UI 3.1 skin reportedly, comes with a build number A205FXXUACUF3. The size of the update is 1924.72 MB. Along with the update, a June 2021 Android Security patch has also been released for this device.
The roll-out of this update was available only in Russia at first, but now it has expanded to other countries including India.

The Samsung Galaxy A20 comes with a 6.4-inch Color Super AMOLED screen with a water-drop notch. It consists of a 13 MP + 5 MP dual rear camera and an 8 MP front camera. It has a 1.6 GHz Octa-Core processor with a Samsung Exynos 7884B chipset. The available RAM is 3 GB and the storage space available is 32 GB. It comes with a battery size of 4000 mAh and an Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box.

As it has bagged two major OS updates now, the chances of a third update with Android 12 are highly unlikely. Therefore, this update will be its last major OS update and hence it is NOT in line with the upcoming Android 12 update.
