Xiaomi Mi 8 SE rolls out with MIUI 12.5 Update in China
Xiaomi Mi 8 SE starts receiving MIUI 12.5 Update with May 2021 security patch onboard, the update is reportedly being released in China and will soon roll out to global variants as well. This update offers few Android 11 like features though the device runs on Android 10, as it has elapsed its update cycle of OS.
Xiaomi is also known for the MIUI and updates it brings to MIUI, customizable User Interface, which offers some unique features. Updates in the MIUI makes it more exciting as it adds new features.

As mentioned above, Xiaomi launches the MIUI 12.5 along with the May 2021 security patch for Xiaomi Mi 8 SE. The beta version is currently available in China with version 12.5.1.0.QEBCNXM
Some features of MIUI 12.5 MIUI+ -MIUI+ includes so many features such as charging animation designs, you can see phone notifications on the desktop, enhanced battery performance. Privacy -MIUI 12.5 is considered more privacy-focused to avoid any risk, malicious contents and security tampering with Clipboard Protection, File Storage (Sandbox Mechanism), Browser, and Location (Fuzzy Positioning). New dynamic wallpapers -It also includes a new set of dynamic wallpaper including Snow Mountain from Mount Siguniang, Shipwreck Bay in Greece (Navagio Beach) and Blade’s Edge Mountain in Italy. Notifications sounds and haptic feedback to avoid any risk -This new skin brings improved haptic feedback to eligible smartphones. MIUI Light Cone Motion Effect Architecture -Xiaomi is now using the 'Light Cone Motion Effect Architecture' feature in this update. MIUI Notes -MIUI Notes is an official app from Xiaomi which help to manage all the paperwork in virtual mode.
Mi 8 SE – Software Support
Mi 8 SE has elapsed its major update cycle and most likely it will receive only a few MIUI updates along with a security patch. It was launched with Android 8.1 with MIUI 9.5 version.

How to download MIUI 12.5
