Oppo has started rolling out the September 2021 security patch. Oppo Find X3 Pro is an important handset for the company presenting an opportunity to solidify its place as a major player in premium smartphones.
Oppo Find X3 Pro is released on March 19,2021
This update is based on ColorOS 11.2 and brings improvements in the system, camera and improved compatibility for third-party apps along with September 2021 security patch.
Now, in August 2021, Oppo has released the Oppo Find X3 Pro ColorOS 12 Beta update based on Android 12 in China. The update will soon be available to the global variants reportedly.

This is the security update for Oppo find X3 Pro as it is already running on Android 12 beta or stable update Android 11.
The Oppo Find X3 Pro will receive three years of major OS updates and four years of Security updates.
Therefore, Android 12 will be the first major OS update on this device and it is also eligible to be on the Android 13 and Android 14 update list as well.
Once the update is available on your device, you can head over to Settings >> About Phone >> Software Update section to update your Oppo Find X3 Pro with the September 2021 Update.
