Nokia has officially released the Nokia 6.1 Plus August 2021 Android Security Patch Update for users globally. This may very well be the Last Security Update on the Nokia 6.1 Plus.
The news of the Nokia 6.1 Plus August 2021 Android Security Patch Update was confirmed by the Nokia users on Twitter. As mentioned above, the update has been released globally, and India is one of the regions to receive the update.
The users on Twitter, themselves declared this as the last Security/Software update on the devices. And, one Nokia 6.1 Plus user suggested the use of Custom ROMs in the future.
The latest update for Nokia 6.1 Plus is based on Android 10 as the Nokia 6.1 Plus runs on Android 10 OS which was its last major OS update.
The Nokia 6.1 Plus was released in July 2018 with an Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
