Oneplus 9RT Software Update:

OnePlus has begun the incremental rollout of the OxygenOS 11 with an A.11 Build update for the Oneplus 9RT along with the June 2022 Security Patch and improvements in the system stability, the device is currently running Android 11 but it has finally announced OnePlus 9RT OxygenOS 12 Closed Beta program in India, four months after the launch.

OnePlus 9R was released on 19th October, 2021 with Android 11 out of the box .

The new software update fixes call recording issues, optimized the network of the device along with improving system stability and brought a fix to the camera, wherein sometimes it used to crash abnormally lastly, the security of the device has been updated to the June 2022 Security Patch.

OnePlus 9RT Software Update:

OnePlus has started rolling out the Open Beta 1, OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12, for OnePlus 9RT users. Users can participate in their Open Beta program and all the participants should update Open Beta to the latest version to meet the latest upcoming build.

OnePlus 9RT was launched on February 17, 2022 with Android version 11 out-of-the-box.

Please keep in mind that this is a beta version of the program. These builds do not have the same level of stability as the official OTAs. There can be some risks associated with the installation of the beta version of the program.

Opinion: It's disappointing to see, the later premium models of OnePlus still getting 1-month old security patch, instead of getting the latest security patch and we are yet to see the Android 12 upgrade from the Company, brands like Samsung, Nokia & Realme had already updated quite a few of their mid-range devices with Android 12. And here we are waiting for the same......

OnePlus 9R was released on 19th October, 2021 with Android 11 out of the box .

The new update optimized the fluency of sliding desktop in certain scenarios and the display effect of Power of the pop-up window and fixed the issue that Pocket Mode did not take effect after blocking the sensor and the occasional issue that the desktop displayed abnormally after unlocking with fingerprint in certain scenarios. It also fixed the occasional issue that the clock on the lock screen displayed abnormally in certain scenarios and improved system stablity.

Previously it had received the March 2022 Security Patch with A.07 Build which had bought improvements in the battery consumption, along with fixes in the speaker and screen brightness settings in some scenarios.

OnePlus has finally started rolling out OxygenOS 11 with A.07 Build in incremental stages for the OnePlus 9RT. The latest build MT2111_11_A.07​ carries the March 2022 security patch which fixed some known issues to improve system stability.

OnePlus 9RT was launched on February 17, 2022 with Android version 11 out-of-the-box.

It also has optimized power consumption to improve battery life. The patch also fixed the issue that the speaker is unable to play sound in some scenarios. It also fixed the low probability issue of the blurred screen when in a bright environment.

Oneplus 9RT Software Update:

OnePlus has begun the incremental rollout of the OxygenOS 11 with A.03 update for the Oneplus 9RT along with the December 2021 Security Patch and improvements in the system stability, the device is currently running Android 11. But coming to Android 12, the device has not been enrolled into an open beta program yet & Its sibling Oneplus 9 & Oneplus 9 Pro are still having a hard time fixing & troubleshooting Android 12 related bugs & issues for OxygenOS 12.

This is the first OTA software update for the Indian variant, since the launch and it is probably expected to get the latest February or January 2022 Security Patch, the noticeable improvements in the software are related to System, Camera & Network with an update size of 167 MB.

Android 12: Expected timeline March-April 2022

OnePlus 9R was released on 19th October, 2021 with Android 11 out of the box .

The device was recently launched in India, on the 17th of January 2022 the first early access sale was announced for Oneplus 9RT running on OxygenOS 11, On the other side, the Chinese variant was announced on 19th October and is currently running on ColorOS 12. Most of the OnePlus Chinese variants have been migrated to ColorOS.

Furthermore, the Global variant of OnePlus devices is also promised to migrate to a unified Operating System which combines Oppo's ColorOS on the system level with a few additions of OxygenOS like launcher, Notification & Shelf etc.
