Oneplus 9RT: April 2022 Security Patch with A.08 Build

Oneplus 9RT Software Update:

OnePlus has begun the incremental rollout of the OxygenOS 11 with an A.08 Build update for the Oneplus 9RT along with the April 2022 Security Patch and improvements in the system stability, the device is currently running Android 11 but it has finally announced OnePlus 9RT OxygenOS 12 Closed Beta program in India, four months after the launch.

Opinion: It’s disappointing to see, the later premium models of OnePlus still getting 1-month old security patch, instead of getting the latest security patch and we are yet to see the Android 12 upgrade from the Company, brands like Samsung, Nokia & Realme had already updated quite a few of their mid-range devices with Android 12. And here we are waiting for the same……

OnePlus 9R was released on 19th October, 2021 with Android 11 out of the box .

The new update optimized the fluency of sliding desktop in certain scenarios and the display effect of Power of the pop-up window and fixed the issue that Pocket Mode did not take effect after blocking the sensor and the occasional issue that the desktop displayed abnormally after unlocking with fingerprint in certain scenarios. It also fixed the occasional issue that the clock on the lock screen displayed abnormally in certain scenarios and improved system stablity.

Previously it had received the March 2022 Security Patch with A.07 Build which had bought improvements in the battery consumption, along with fixes in the speaker and screen brightness settings in some scenarios.
